She is a photographer, sculptor, and video artist. Anneè Olofsson often uses her own body in her photo and video work. In her art she works with a clear surrealistic twist, she uses autobiographical material to explore mother-daughter and father-daughter relations in a way that inevitable gets under the skin of the viewer. Many of her photographic works are focused around the theme of aging and its societal stigma. Olofsson's work is also focused on the themes of anxiety and protection.
Her works has been exhibited worldwide. Some venues includes Bangkok Art Biennale, Venice Art Biennale and Mori Art Museum, Tokyo.
